Every individual and their life challenges are unique. Consequently, there is not a distinct therapeutic approach which works for everyone. Accordingly, I cater my style to fit with my clients’ personalities, life circumstances and goals. I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. 

For me, an often recurrent objective in therapy is to explore my clients' challenges to help them develop an awareness of conscious and unconscious thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that become drivers of actions that negatively impact them in a myriad of ways. Once there is an understanding of these factors, real growth can occur by recognizing new ways of thinking, acting, and exploring options that can lead to a more complete and fulfilling life.

My priority is always focused on my clients' challenges and desires as I accompany them on their journeys in overcoming personal and interpersonal struggles.

I work extensively with teen / adolescents, couples and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioral challenges and major life transitions.
